Sean Bean joins Relativity's 'Snow White'

Sean Bean has joined the cast of Relativity's untitled Snow White film.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film has a March 16, 2012, release date set.
Shooting is underway in Montreal.
Tarsem Singh is directing.
The cast includes Julia Roberts as the evil Queen, Nathan Lane as the Queen's servant Brighton, Lily Collins as Snow White and Armie Hammer as Prince Andrew Alcott.
Bean will play Snow White's father.
Mare Winningham and Michael Lerner have also been cast.
The seven dwarfs include Mark Povinelli ("Water for Elephants"), Jordan Prentice ("Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle"), Danny Woodburn ("Death to Smoochy"), Sebastian Saraceno ("Bedtime Stories"), Ronald Lee Clark ("Epic Movie"), Martin Klebba ("Hancock") and Joey Gnoffo ("The Benchwarmers").
Melissa Wallack and Jason Keller wrote the script.
The modern day retelling of Snow White finds the vengeful heroine joining forces with a gang of seven dwarfs after her evil stepmother kills her father.
Ryan Kavanaugh, Bernie Goldmann and Brett Ratner are producing.
Bean is coming off his heralded performance in HBO's "Game of Thrones."
