Lennix joins 'Man of Steel'

Harry Lennix has joined the cast of Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures' Superman reboot "Man of Steel", opposite Henry Cavill as Superman.
According to Variety, the cast includes Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Antje Traue, Julia Ormond, Russell Crowe and Christopher Meloni.
Zack Snyder ("300," "Watchmen," "Sucker Punch") is directing with shooting set to begin later this summer.
The film is set for a December 2012 release before Warners could potentially lose the copyright on the character in 2013.
Christopher Nolan will produce with wife Emma Thomas, as well as Charles Roven ("The Dark Knight") and Deborah Snyder ("Watchmen," "Sucker Punch").
David S. Goyer ("Batman Begins") wrote the script, based on a story he conceived with Nolan.
Plot details are being kept under wraps.
Lennix's credits include "The Matrix Reloaded," "The Matrix Revolutions," "Ray" and "State of Play."
