The adventure of “The Hobbit” follows the journey of title character Bilbo Baggins, who is swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the fearsome dragon Smaug. The latest video focuses on the filming so far and location scouting. You also get further glimpse of Gollum, Bilbo Baggins and Hugo Weaving's Elrond in the upcoming fantasy adventure.
"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" hits screens worldwide from December 14th, 2012.
Part II, "The Hobbit: There and Back Again" is released a year later on December 13th, 2013.
The two fantasy movies are based on the classic J. R. R Tolkien novel.
Local Shire hobbit Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), uncle of Frodo Baggins, is living a quiet, peaceful life until Gandalf the Grey (Ian Mckellen) and a band of wandering dwarves show up to hire Bilbo for a quest that entails defeating the dragon Smaug and recovering a treasure.
