Abigail Spencer loves 'Oz'

Abigail Spencer has joined the cast of Disney's 3D prequel to the 1939 classic "The Wizard of Oz" called "Oz, the Great and Powerful."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sam Raimi is directing with Joe Roth, Josh Donen and Grant Curtis producing.
David Lindsay-Abaire ("Rabbit Hole") wrote the latest version of the script.
Mitchell Kapner wrote an earlier draft.
James Franco will star as a circus performer named Oz, who is transported through a tornado to the mysterious land of Oz, where he must fight real magic and three witches (Theodora, Glinda and Evanora) battling for control of the land.
Mila Kunis will play Theodora, Rachel Weisz will play Evanora and Michelle Williams will play Glinda.
Zach Braff has also been cast.
Shooting is expected to begin later this month in Michigan with a release date set for March 8, 2013.
Spencer is best known for her work on AMC's "Mad Men" and will be seen in Jon Favreau's "Cowboys and Aliens."
