Actors join 'Parker'

Clifton Collins Jr. and Wendell Pierce have boarded the cast of Sierra/Affinity, Incentive Filmed Entertainment and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment's thriller "Parker."
According to Variety, Taylor Hackford is directing from a script by John J. McLaughlin.
Jason Statham and Jennifer Lopez have already been cast.
Hackford is producing along with Steven Chasman, Les Alexander, Sidney Kimmel and Jonathan Mitchell.
Based on Donald E. Westlake's popular book series, "Parker" focuses on an honorable thief who, despite having to be a killer at times, refuses to steal from those in need and will fight back mercilessly if double crossed.
Collins Jr. was recently on "CSI: NY" and "The Event."
Pierce is best known for his role as Det. William 'Bunk' Moreland on HBO's "The Wire" and can be seen on the network's "Treme."
