'Cars 2' drives to box office win

Disney and Pixar's "Cars 2" won the domestic box office over the weekend as it opened to $68 million.
According to Variety, the opening for the sequel beat the opening for the original "Cars," which debuted with $60 million in June of 2006.
Sony's comedy "Bad Teacher" opened in the No. 2 spot with $31 million.
Warner Bros.' "Green Lantern" saw a 65% drop in its second week of release as it placed No. 3 with $18.4 million for a domestic cumulative of $89.3 million.
Paramount's "Super 8" placed No. 4 with $12.1 million for a domestic cumulative of $95.2 million.
20th Century Fox's "Mr. Popper's Penguins" finished in the No. 5 spot with $10.3 million for a domestic cumulative of $39.4 million.
