Diego Luna heading to the 'Elysium'

Diego Luna has joined the cast of Neill Blomkamp's sci-fi thriller "Elysium."
According to Variety, Blomkamp will direct "Elysium" from his own script.
Blomkamp made his feature directorial debut on the 2009 sci-fi hit "District 9."
Matt Damon, Sharlto Copley, Jodie Foster, Wagner Moura and William Fichtner are starring.
Sony has picked up distribution rights for the film.
Bill Block and Simon Kinberg will produce.
Plot details are scarce other than the film is set in a future world where social class determines one's fate.
Production begins in July with a release date set for March 1, 2013.
Luna's credits include "Y Tu Mama Tambien" and "Milk."
