Mary Harron close to 'Wicked Lovely'

Mary Harron is in talks to direct Universal's fantasy film "Wicked Lovely."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Vince Vaughn, Valeri Vaughn and Peter Billingsley will produce for Wild West Picture Show Productions.
Kimberly Peirce had been attached to direct.
Caroline Thompson is adapting Melissa Marr's New York Times bestselling novel which has been published in 18 languages. The other books in the series include "Ink Exchange," "Fragile Eternity" and "Radiant Shadows."
The story centers on a female teenager named Aislinn who has followed a set of rules when dealing with dangerous faeries in her life. When she begins to have feelings for a boy, the faeries break the rules and up the stakes.
Harron's credits include "American Psycho" and "The Notorious Betty Page."
