'X-Men: First Class' wins weekend box office battle

20th Century Fox's "X-Men: First Class" took the top spot in the domestic box office over the weekend as it debuted with $56 million.
According to Variety, Warner's "The Hangover: Part II" came in at No. 2 with $32.4 million.
The film has grossed $186.9 million in its first 11 days.
Paramount and DreamWorks Animation's "Kung Fu Panda 2" placed No. 3 with $24.3 million for a domestic cumulative of $101.5 million.
Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" came in at No. 4 with $18 million for a domestic cumulative of $190.2 million.
Universal's "Bridesmaids" came in at No. 5 with $12.1 million for a domestic cumulative of $107.3 million.
