Zach Braff going to 'Oz'

Zach Braff is in final talks to join Disney’s 3D prequel to the 1939 classic "The Wizard of Oz" called "Oz, the Great and Powerful."
According to Variety, Sam Raimi is directing with Joe Roth, Josh Donen and Grant Curtis producing.
David Lindsay-Abaire ("Rabbit Hole") wrote the latest version of the script.
Mitchell Kapner wrote an earlier draft.
James Franco will star as a circus performer named Oz, who is transported through a tornado to the mysterious land of Oz, where he must fight real magic and three witches (Theodora, Glinda and Evanora) battling for control of the land.
Mila Kunis will play Theodora, Rachel Weisz will play Evanora and Michelle Williams will play Glinda.
Shooting is expected to begin in July in Michigan with a release date set for March 8, 2013.
