'The Hangover Part II' reigns over holiday weekend

Warner Bros.' "The Hangover Part II" had the biggest opening ever for a comedy as it grossed $137.4 million during its five-day opening over a record-setting Memorial Day weekend.
According to Variety, the overall total for the weekend neared $280 million, besting the $255 million seen in 2007.
DreamWorks Animation and Paramount's 3D cartoon "Kung Fu Panda 2" came in No. 2 as it opened with $68 million.
Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" came in at No. 3 with $50.4 million for a domestic cumulative of $164 million.
Universal's "Bridesmaids" finished in the No. 4 spot with $21 million for a domestic cumulative of $89.6 million.
Paramount's "Thor" came in at No. 5 with $12 million for a domestic cumulative of $162.4 million.
