'Oz, the Great and Powerful' gets 2013 release date

Disney has set a release date of March 8, 2013, for their 3D prequel to the 1939 classic "The Wizard of Oz" called "Oz, the Great and Powerful."
According to Variety, Sam Raimi is directing with Joe Roth producing.
David Lindsay-Abaire ("Rabbit Hole") wrote the latest version of the script.
Mitchell Kapner wrote an earlier draft.
James Franco will star as a circus performer named Oz, who is transported through a tornado to the mysterious land of Oz, where he must fight real magic and three witches (Theodora, Glinda and Evanora) battling for control of the land.
Mila Kunis will play Theodora, Rachel Weisz will play Evanora and Michelle Williams will play Glinda.
Shooting is expected to begin in July in Michigan.
