Tom Hardy's Bane revealed in first 'Dark Knight Rises' image

Warner Brothers have began their viral marketting campaign for next summers hugely anticipated third film in the new "Batman" series, "The Dark Knight Rises." To signal the start of Dark Knight mania, the marketting team have released a photo via a viral Twitter account of English actor Tom Hardy as the villain, Bane.

"The Dark Knight Rises" hits screens worldwide from July 20th, 2012.
"Batman Begins and "The Dark Knight" director Christopher Nolan returns to lead the ship on this latest Batman installment. Shooting is now underway on the film, spreading 3 continents.
The film stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, Josh Pence, Nestor Carbonell and Daniel Sunjata.
