By James Wray Sep 23, 2004, 14:32 GMT
Harry Connick Jr. is to play a disgraced corporate cowboy who pays a street kid to help him commit suicide in Boomerang Deal.
Phillip Marzella has written and will direct the movie. Is is described as a unique take on the love story genre and follows the pair's wanderings over one night under a full moon in a city reminiscent of a Fellini film.
Boomerang Deal has a very experienced crew, including Moulin Rouge music supervisor Anton Monstead, director of photography Ian Baker (Japanese Girl and Six Degrees of Separation), editor Ken Sallows (Chopper), and production designer Michelle McGahey, who was the art director on Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones and The Matrix.
