Thrilling first trailer for 'Stray Dogs' starring Bosworth & Marsden

Los Angeles screenwriter David Sumner (James Marden) relocates with his wife (Kate Bosworth) to her hometown in the deep South. There, while tensions build between them, a brewing conflict with locals becomes a threat to them both. David must stand up and protest his wife and house.

The chilling first official movie trailer for Sony Screen Gem's upcoming thriller "Straw Dogs" can now be watched online. The film is a remake of the original Sam Peckinpah directed 1971 movie starring Dustin Hoffman and Susan George.

The new version swaps rural England for the American deep south and stars James Marsden and Kate Bosworth in the Hoffman/George roles.

"Straw Dogs" also stars Alexander Skarsgård, Dominic Purcell, Laz Alonso, Willa Holland, James Woods, Walton Goggins, Anson Mount, Billy Lush, Rhys Coiro, Kristen Shaw and Drew Powell.

"Straw Dogs" is released across the US from September 16th and the UK from October 28th.
