'Thor' hammers way to top of box office

Paramount and Marvel Studio's 3D tentpole "Thor" dominated the competition as it debuted with $66 million to win the domestic box office.
According to Variety, Universal's "Fast Five" placed second in its second weekend of release with $32.5 million for a domestic cumulative of $139.9 million.
Sony's wedding comedy "Jumping the Broom" opened in the No. 3 spot with $13.7 million.
Warner Bros.' romantic comedy "Something Borrowed" opened in the No. 4 spot with $13.2 million.
Twentieth Century Fox's 3D cartoon "Rio" placed No. 5 for the weekend with $8.2 million for a domestic cumulative of $114.9 million.
