Mindy Kaling has a prior 'Engagement'

Mindy Kaling has joined the cast of the Universal comedy "Five-Year Engagement."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nicholas Stoller is directing a cast that includes Jason Segel, Emily Blunt, Alison Brie, Chris Pratt, Rhys Ifans, David Paymer, Kevin Hart, Jacki Weaver and Lauren Weedman.
Stoller and Segel wrote the script which centers on the highs and lows of a man's (Segel) five-year engagement to his fiancée (Blunt).
Judd Apatow, Rodney Rothman and Stoller are producing.
Production is scheduled to begin in early May.
Kaling is best known for her role as Kelly Kapoor in "The Office."
She also appeared in Ivan Reitman's romantic comedy "No Strings Attached."
