Watch WETA's magic for 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes'

WETA digitals CGI creation of the ape Caesar from the upcoming "Planet of the Apes" prequel.
We have added a very short 5 second clip featuring superb visual effects work from WETA Digital on the CGI apes for the upcoming "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" movie. The clip is the first footage released from the 20th Century Fox "Planet of the Apes" prequel.
Directed by Rupert Wyatt the film stars Freida Pinto, John Lithgow, Andy Serkis, Bran Cox, Tyler Labine and Tom Felton.

Though the clip is short, from what I see already, this looks like the most life-like CGI creation I've seen to date.
"Rise of the Planet of the Apes" is released across the US from August 5th.
Set in present day San Francisco, the film deals with the aftermath of genetic engineering experiments that lead to intelligence in apes and a war for supremacy.
