Fichtner could join 'Elysium'

William Fichtner is in final talks to join the cast of Neill Blomkamp's sci-fi thriller "Elysium."
According to Variety, Blomkamp will direct from his own script.
Matt Damon, Sharlto Copley, Jodie Foster and Wagner Moura are starring.
Sony has picked up distribution rights for the film.
Shooting is set to begin in July with a March 8, 2013, release date set.
Bill Block and Simon Kinberg will produce.
Plot details are scarce other than the film is set in a future world where social class determines one's fate.
Fichtner was recently seen in "Drive Angry 3D," opposite Nicolas Cage.
