Sofia Vergara loves the 'Stooges'

Sofia Vergara is in talks for the female lead in 20th Century Fox's "The Three Stooges" film.
According to Variety, Peter and Bobby Farrelly are writing and directing the film with a release date set for next year.
The cast includes Sean Hayes as Larry Fine and Will Sasso as Curly Howard.
The role of Moe has not been cast yet.
The Farrellys are producing with their Conundrum partner Bradley Thomas and Charles B. Wessler.
The PG-rated film will not be a straight-forward narrative but rather three, 27-minute segments with trademark Stooges physical comedy.
Vergara is best known for her work on ABC's "Modern Family."
She's currently filming Garry Marshall's ensemble romantic comedy "New Year's Eve."
