Riggle close to '21 Jump Street'

Rob Riggle is in talks to play the lead villain in Columbia Pictures' bigscreen reboot of "21 Jump Street."
According to Variety, the cast includes Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill, Ice Cube and Brie Larson.
Tatum and Hill are also executive producing.
The film is based on the 1980s Fox TV series that focused on young undercover police officers investigating crimes in high schools and colleges.
Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are directing from a script by Michael Bacall.
Neal H. Moritz will produce. Stephen J. Cannell, who co-created and executive produced the original series, will receive a posthumous producing credit.
Production is scheduled to begin later this month.
Riggle's recent screen credits include "The Other Guys" and "Going the Distance."
He'll be seen this summer in Universal's "Larry Crowne," opposite Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts.
