Carrie-Anne Moss and Malcolm McDowell have joined the cast of Davis Films' sequel to the 2006 video game adaptation of "Silent Hill" titled "Silent Hill: Revelation 3D."
According to Variety, the film is currently shooting in Toronto with Michael J. Bassett directing.
The cast includes Adelaide Clemens and Kit Harington, as well as the original "Silent Hill" stars Radha Mitchell, Sean Bean, and Deborah Kara Unger.
Davis Films' Samuel Hadida and Don Carmody ("Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D," "Resident Evil: Apocalypse," "Silent Hill") are producing.
The story centers on a teenage girl (Clemens) and her father on the run from dangerous forces that she doesn't fully understand. As she nears her 18th birthday, and is tormented by nightmares and the disappearance of her father, she comes to the frightening conclusion that she's not who she thinks she is.
Moss is best known for her role as Trinity in "The Matrix" trilogy.
McDowell played the iconic Alexander DeLarge in Stanley Kubrick's "A Clockwork Orange."
