Sean Hayes to play Larry in 'Three Stooges'

Sean Hayes will play Larry in 20th Century Fox 's long-in-the-works "Three Stooges" remake.
According to Variety, Will Sasso was cast as Curly last week.
The role of Moe has not been cast yet.
When the film was set up at MGM, the original cast was Sean Penn as Larry, Jim Carrey as Curly and Benicio del Toro as Moe.
Peter and Bobby Farrelly are writing and directing the film with a release date set for next year.
Conundrum's Bradley Thomas will produce with Charles B. Wessler.
The film will not be a straight-forward narrative but rather three, 27-minute segments with trademark Stooges physical comedy.
Hayes is best known for his role as Jack McFarland on "Will & Grace."
His last big-screen appearance came in 2007's "The Bucket List."
