Tyler Perry loves 'Good Deeds'

Tyler Perry will direct, write and star in Lionsgate's romantic drama "Good Deeds."
According to Variety, Thandie Newton is also starring.
Perry is producing through his Tyler Perry Studios shingle with production set to begin at the end of April in Atlanta.
Perry will play a successful entrepreneur named Glen Deeds who's about to get married to a rich woman when he falls in love with an unfortunate single mother (Newton).
This continues the relationship between Perry and Lionsgate, which has seen Perry's 10 films over the last six years gross over $520 million at the North American box office.
Lionsgate recently extended its first-look deal with Perry for two more years.
Perry's latest film for Lionsgate, "Madea's Big Happy Family," opens April 22.
