Lily Collins will play Snow White in Relativity's "The Brothers Grimm: Snow White."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tarsem Singh is directing the big-screen adaptation of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale.
The cast includes Julia Roberts as the evil Queen and Armie Hammer as Prince Andrew Alcott.
Melissa Wallack and Jason Keller wrote the script.
The modern day retelling of Snow White finds the vengeful heroine joining forces with a gang of seven dwarves after her evil stepmother kills her father.
Ryan Kavanaugh, Bernie Goldmann and Brett Ratner are producing.
Shooting is set to begin in May.
Relativity has set a release date of June 29, 2012, six months before Universal opens their Snow White feature "Snow White and the Huntsman."
Collins had her breakout role playing Sandra Bullock's daughter in "The Blind Side." She stars in Screen Gems' upcoming "Priest" and Lionsgate's thriller "Abduction," opposite Taylor Lautner.
