James Spader, Carla Gugino and Ryan Phillippe have joined the cast of writer/director Sheldon Turner's "By Virtue Fall."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Treat Williams and Kim Coates have also joined the cast.
Turner, who co-wrote the Oscar-nominated screenplay for "Up in the Air," will make his directorial debut on the film.
He is producing with Jennifer Klein.
The film focuses on a pair of ATF agents who become enemies after one frames the other for a crime.
Eric Bana has been attached for months now as one of the two ATF agents.
Turner has been trying to cast the other lead actor opposite Bana with Colin Farrell and Jeremy Renner being mentioned as possible candidates.
Schedules for both actors might be problematic with Farrell working on Columbia's "Total Recall" remake and Renner having both Paramount's "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" and Marvel Studios' "The Avengers" in his immediate future.
