Hammer set for Relativity's 'Snow White'

Armie Hammer will star as Prince Andrew Alcott in Relativity's "The Brothers Grimm: Snow White."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tarsem Singh is directing the big-screen adaptation of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale.
Melissa Wallack and Jason Keller wrote the script.
Julia Roberts is set to star as the evil Queen.
The modern day retelling of Snow White finds the vengeful heroine joining forces with a gang of seven dwarves after her evil stepmother kills her father.
The role of Snow White has not been cast yet.
Ryan Kavanaugh, Bernie Goldmann and Brett Ratner are producing.
Shooting is set to begin in May.
Relativity has set a release date of June 29, 2012, six months before Universal opens their Snow White feature "Snow White and the Huntsman."
Hammer had his breakout role in Sony's "The Social Network" and is currently filming Clint Eastwood's "J. Edgar," opposite Leonardo DiCaprio.
