Rosamund Pike, Bill Nighy, Toby Kebbell and Edgar Ramirez have joined the cast of Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures' "Clash of the Titans" sequel.
According to Variety, Jonathan Liebesman ("Battle: Los Angeles") is directing the 3D film.
Sam Worthington is reprising his role as Perseus from last year's "Clash of the Titans" along with Ralph Fiennes as Hades, Liam Neeson as Zeus and Danny Huston as Poseidon.
Pike will replace Alexa Davalos in the role of Queen Andromeda.
Kebbell will play Poseidon's demigod son, Argenor, while Nighy will play the fallen god Hephaestus. Ramirez plays Zeus's godly son, Ares.
Dan Mazeau, David Leslie Johnson and Steven Knight wrote the script.
Basil Iwanyk and Polly Cohen Johnsen are producing.
Shooting is underway at Shepperton Studios and on location in Surrey, South Wales and the Spanish island of Tenerife.
The film is scheduled for a March 2012 release.
Despite mostly negative reviews, 2010's "Clash of the Titans," a remake of the 1981 original, grossed nearly $500 million worldwide.
