Law and Johnson close to 'Anna Karenina'

Jude Law and Aaron Johnson are in advanced talks to join Working Title's adaptation of Leo Tolstoy's literary classic "Anna Karenina."
According to Variety, Joe Wright is directing from Tom Stoppard's adaptation.
Keira Knightley stars in the title role.
The book tells the story of a young high-society wife living in 19th Century Russia who, trapped in a loveless marriage, has an affair with another man.
Working Title's Tim Bevan is producing.
Knightley and Wright have previously collaborated on "Atonement" and "Pride and Prejudice."
The novel has gone through several film and TV incarnations, with the most recent being a 1997 Warner Bros. film which starred Sophie Marceau and Sean Bean.
Johnson was most recently in "Kick-Ass" and "Nowhere Boy."
Law just wrapped Warner's "Contagion."
