Luketic sees something 'Brilliant'

Robert Luketic will direct Lakeshore Entertainment's heist film "Brilliant."
According to Variety, the script was written by Gillian Gorfil and Elizabeth Shorten.
The story revolves around a minor-league criminal who joins a group of professional thieves in a diamond heist.
Gorfil, Sidney Kimmel, Gary Lucchesi and Tom Rosenberg are producing.
Casting will begin in the next few weeks.
No production start date has been set yet.
Luketic most recently directed Lionsgate's "Killers" with Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl.
His other feature directing credits include "The Ugly Truth," "21," "Monster-in-Law," "Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!" and "Legally Blonde."
