Larson close to '21 Jump Street'

Brie Larson is in talks to star in Columbia Pictures' bigscreen reboot of "21 Jump Street."
According to Variety, the cast includes Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill and Ice Cube.
Tatum and Hill are also executive producing.
The film is based on the 1980s Fox TV series that focused on young undercover police officers investigating crimes in high schools and colleges.
Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are directing from a script by Michael Bacall.
Neal H. Moritz will produce. Stephen J. Cannell, who co-created and executive produced the original series, will receive a posthumous producing credit.
Production is scheduled to begin in late April.
Larson was recently in "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" and "Greenberg."
