Recording artist and actress Mandy Moore will star in the supernatural drama "Falling Slowly."
According to Variety, this will mark the directorial debut of "Buried" writer Chris Sparling.
Julie Snyder is producing.
Rodrigo Santoro ("I Love You Philip Morris") has also been cast. He voices a character in 20th Century Fox's upcoming animated feature "Rango."
The film focuses on a couple (Moore and Santoro) who come to find out that their apartment is haunted.
Moore last lent her voice as the lead in Disney's animated hit "Tangled." She is currently working on a follow-up to her 2009 album, "Amanda Leigh."
