By Adnan Tezer Mar 1, 2011, 20:23 GMT
Josh Brolin is developing a "Hunchback of Notre Dame" project at Warner Bros. that he will star in.
According to Variety, Brolin is also producing through his Brolin Productions company.
Kieran and Michele Mulroney will write the script based on an idea by Brolin.
The project is being developed as a possible directing vehicle for Tim Burton, who is not yet officially attached.
No plot details have been released, other than it will be based on the 1831 Victor Hugo novel "Notre Dame de Paris" about Quasimodo, the deformed bell-ringer of Notre Dame, and the beautiful but kind gypsy Esmeralda.
Brolin can be currently seen in "True Grit" and is shooting "Men in Black 3."
