First look at James Franco in 'Planet of the Apes' prequel

A first official image of Oscar nominated James Franco in "Rise of the Apes", the upcoming prequel to "Planet of the Apes", is now online. The science fiction action adventure is directed by English film maker Rupert Wyatt (The Escapist).
The 20th Century Fox film also stars Freida Pinto, John Lithgow, Brian Cox, Tom Felton, David Oyelowo, and Andy Serkis, who is already accustomed to showing his primate side on the big screen.

"Rise of the Apes" is released across the US from November 23rd, and the UK from November 25th.
"Rise of the Apes" is the origin story to "Planet of the Apes" set in present day San Francisco, where man's own experiments with genetic engineering lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.
