Giovanni Ribisi joins 'Ted' cast

Giovanni Ribisi has joined the cast of Universal and Media Rights Capital's comedy "Ted."
According to Variety, the film is being directed by "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane.
MacFarlane wrote the script with Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild.
Scott Stuber is producing the comedy for Universal through his Stuber Pictures along with MacFarlane, John Jacobs and Wild.
The cast includes Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis and Adam Scott.
The film focuses on a grown man whose beloved teddy bear comes to life, fulfilling a childhood wish.
Wahlberg will play the grown man while MacFarlane will voice the CGI teddy bear.
Ribisi is currently shooting "Contraband," also with Wahlberg, and will be seen in "The Rum Diaries," opposite Johnny Depp.
