11-year-old actor Dakota Goyo will lend his voice to DreamWorks Animation's 3D fantasy "Rise of the Guardians."
According to Variety, he joins a cast that includes Hugh Jackman, Chris Pine, Jude Law, Alec Baldwin and Isla Fisher.
Peter Ramsey and William Joyce are directing with a release date scheduled for 2012.
David Lindsay-Abaire adapted the script from a book written by Joyce.
Christina Steinberg and Nancy Bernstein are producing with Guillermo del Toro and Michael Siegel executive producing.
The film focuses on four mythic childhood characters (Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy and Jack Frost) that join forces to protect children from an evil spirit.
Goyo appears opposite Jackman in the upcoming "Real Steel." He also appears as a young Thor in Kenneth Branagh's "Thor."
