Ray Liotta all in for 'Cogan's Trade'

Ray Liotta is the latest actor to join the cast of the ensemble crime comedy "Cogan's Trade."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cast includes Brad Pitt, James Gandolfini, Bella Heathcote, Javier Bardem, Sam Rockwell, Casey Affleck, Mark Ruffalo, Vincent Curatola and Richard Jenkins.
Andrew Dominick is directing from his own script.
The film is based on the 1974 George V. Higgins novel of the same name that focuses on Jackie Cogan (Pitt), a Boston mob enforcer who investigates a heist that takes place during a mob-protected poker game.
Liotta will portray Mark "Markie" Trattman, the mobster who runs the poker game.
The Weinstein Company is producing along with Pitt and Dede Gardner's Plan B Entertainment.
Steve Schwartz and Paula Mae Schwartz from Chockstone are co-producing.
Shooting is set to begin later this month in New Orleans with an early 2012 release scheduled.
Liotta appears in the upcoming films "The Son of No One," "The Details" and "Wanderlust."
