Ice Cube could be moving to '21 Jump Street'

Ice Cube is in talks to join the cast of Columbia Pictures' bigscreen reboot of "21 Jump Street."
According to Variety, Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill will star in the film as well as executive produce.
The film is based on the 1980s Fox TV series that focused on young undercover police officers investigating crimes in high schools and colleges.
Ice Cube would play the police captain of Tatum and Hill's undercover cop characters.
Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are directing from a script by Michael Bacall.
Hill and Bacall wrote an earlier draft of the script.
Neal H. Moritz will produce. Stephen J. Cannell, who co-created and executive produced the original series, will receive a posthumous producing credit.
Production is scheduled to begin in late April.
Ice Cube recently wrapped Oren Moverman's "Rampart."
