Vincent Curatola, who played mob boss Johnny Sack on "The Sopranos," has joined the cast of the crime comedy "Cogan's Trade" alongside Brad Pitt and fellow "Sopranos" star James Gandolfini.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Andrew Dominick is directing from his own script.
The cast also includes Sam Rockwell, Casey Affleck, Mark Ruffalo, Richard Jenkins and Bella Heathcote.
The film is based on the 1974 George V. Higgins novel of the same name that focuses on Jackie Cogan (Pitt), a Boston mob enforcer who investigates a heist that takes place during a mob-protected poker game.
Curatola will play a middle-aged man recently released from jail seeking vengeance on those responsible for putting him behind bars.
The Weinstein Company is producing along with Pitt and Dede Gardner's Plan B Entertainment.
Steve Schwartz and Paula Mae Schwartz from Chockstone are co-producing.
Shooting is set to begin later this month with an early 2012 release scheduled.
