Warner Bros. has begun development of a re-imagining of "Bram Stoker's Dracula" titled "Harker."
According to Variety, Lee Shipman and Brian McGreevy wrote the script with Jaume Collet-Serra attached to direct.
Appian Way's Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson Killoran are producing.
The film will focus on Jonathan Harker as a Scotland Yard detective hunting Dracula. In Stoker's 1897 novel, Harker is an estate agent sent to meet with Count Dracula in Transylvania, only to discover that he's been made a prisoner by his vampire host.
Collet-Serra has directed "House of Wax" and "Orphan" for Warner Bros.
His next film is the upcoming Warner Bros. thriller "Unknown," starring Liam Neeson, Diane Kruger, January Jones, Aidan Quinn and Frank Langella.
