Jason Clarke uproots to the 'Wettest County'

Jason Clarke has joined the cast of the film adaptation of Matt Bondurant's novel "The Wettest County in the World."
According to Variety, he joins a cast that includes Shia LaBeouf and Tom Hardy with John Hillcoat directing.
Nick Cave is adapting the screenplay.
Mia Wasikowska is circling the project pending on a scheduling conflict with another film.
Bondurant's novel, set during the Prohibition, revolves around a family of bootleggers in the American south.
Megan Ellison, Lucy Fisher and Douglas Wick are producing through Fisher and Wick's Red Wagon Entertainment.
Clarke stars in the upcoming Fox show "The Chicago Code," which premieres on February 7, and was recently in "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps."
