Nolan testing actresses for 'Dark Knight Rises'

Christopher Nolan has begun looking at actresses for the next Batman film, "The Dark Knight Rises."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Keira Knightley, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel and Gemma Arterton along with Kate Mara and British actress Charlotte Riley are scheduled to test in the next two weeks.
The film has two major female roles, a villain and a love interest. No other plot specifics are known as Nolan always maintains high secrecy throughout the production of his films.
"Dark Knight Rises" is written by David Goyer, Nolan and his brother Jonathan.
Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas and Charles Roven are producing with shooting set for May in London and Los Angeles.
Christian Bale is set to return as Batman.
Tom Hardy, who was in Nolan's "Inception" and is engaged to Riley, has booked an unspecified role in the film.
The film is scheduled for a July 20, 2012, release date.
