Sam Rockwell needs a 'Trade'
By Adnan Tezer Jan 6, 2011, 20:29 GMT
Sam Rockwell is in talks to join the mob heist comedy "Cogan's Trade," opposite Brad Pitt.
According to Variety, Andrew Dominick is directing from his own script.
Dominick wrote and directed 2007's "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" that starred Pitt and Rockwell.
"Trade" centers on Jackie Cogan (Pitt), a mob enforcer who investigates a heist that takes place during a mob-protected poker game.
Pitt is producing with Dede Gardner through their Plan B, along with Steve Schwartz and Paula Mae Schwartz from Chockstone. Inferno's Bill Johnson and Jim Seibel will executive produce along with Marc Butan.
Shooting will begin in March in Louisiana.
Rockwell was most recently in "Conviction." He'll be seen next in the upcoming "Cowboys & Aliens."
