Gemma Arterton joins up with 'Hansel & Gretel'

Gemma Arterton has been cast as Gretel in Paramount's "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters," opposite Jeremy Renner as Hansel.
According to Variety, Tommy Wirkola ("Dead Snow") is directing.
This version of the fairytale is set 15 years after the siblings killed the witch who kidnapped them. Hansel and Gretel are now bounty hunters who pursue witches.
D.W. Harper is writing the script.
Will Ferrell, Chris Henchy, Adam McKay and Kevin J. Messick are producing through their Gary Sanchez Productions
Shooting will begin March 7 in Berlin.
Arterton was last seen in "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" and "Tamara Drewe."
