Mila Kunis and Adam Scott are in negotiations to join the cast of Universal and Media Rights Capital's comedy "Ted."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is being directed by "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane.
MacFarlane wrote the script with Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild.
Scott Stuber is producing the comedy for Universal through his Stuber Pictures along with MacFarlane, John Jacobs and Wild.
The film focuses on a grown man whose beloved teddy bear comes to life, fulfilling a childhood wish.
Mark Wahlberg has been in talks to star as the grown man.
MacFarlane will voice the CGI teddy bear.
Kunis will play Wahlberg's long-suffering girlfriend, while Scott would play her jerky boss.
Kunis can be seen in Darren Aronofsky's critically acclaimed "Black Swan."
Scott can be seen on NBC's "Parks & Recreation" and recently wrapped the comedy "My Idiot Brother," opposite Paul Rudd and Elizabeth Banks.
