By Adnan Tezer Dec 9, 2010, 19:54 GMT
Andy and Lana (formerly Larry) Wachowski will write and direct a modern day, urban version of Robin Hood for Warner Bros., titled "Hood."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, no other plot details are known.
Will Smith has been mentioned as one of the actors that the Wachowskis have reached out to.
They are currently working on the Iraq war movie, "CN-9," which will be told from the point of view of archeologists trying to make sense of the U.S. occupation of Iraq through found footage. Subplots include two male soldiers falling in love and an assassination attempt on George W. Bush.
The Wachowskis have been at Warners since 1999's "The Matrix."
In addition to the two "Matrix" sequels, the brothers also directed 2008's "Speed Racer" for the studio.
