Warners working on Ferrell, Galifianakis political comedy

Warner Bros. is developing an untitled political comedy that has Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis attached to star and Jay Roach attached to direct.
According to Variety, Ferrell and Adam McKay are producing through their Gary Sanchez Productions along with Roach and Galifianakis.
No plot details have been released except that Ferrell and Galifianakis will play presidential candidates.
There has been no production date set yet.
Chris Henchy ("The Other Guys") and Shawn Harwell ("Eastbound and Down") will write the script.
Ferrell's 2010 included starring in "The Other Guys" and voicing the titular "Megamind." He'll also be seen in the upcoming dramedy "Everything Must Go."
2010 saw Galifianakis appear in the Roach-directed "Dinner for Schmucks" over the summer, "It's Kind of a Funny Story" and Warner's "Due Date."
