Josh Brolin heading to the 'Pitz'

Josh Brolin will produce, direct and star in the drama "Pitz and Joe" for Warner Bros.
According to Variety, the film is an adaptation of the 1979 Dominique Cieri play of the same name.
Maya Forbes ("Monsters vs. Aliens," "The Rocker") will write the adaptation.
The play follows the misfortunes of a young man suffering from brain damage as the result of an accident and his sister, who tries to help him regain the belief that life is worth living.
Brolin's directorial debut was with the 2008 short film "X." He will be seen next in the Coen Brothers' "True Grit" and is currently shooting "Men in Black 3."
