Fox pushes 'Monte Carlo' back to summer

Fox has moved the release date of their female comedy "Monte Carlo" from February 11 to July 1, 2011.
According to Variety, the film will now open against Paramount's "Transformers 3" and Universal's Tom Hanks film "Larry Crowne."
Tom Bezucha directed "Monte Carlo," with a cast that includes Katie Cassidy, Selena Gomez, Leighton Meester, Brett Cullen, Luke Bracey, Pierre Boulanger and Andie McDowell.
Gomez, Cassidy and Meester star as three American girls who take a trip to Paris, only to end up in Monaco through a case of mistaken identity.
The film was shot in Monaco, Budapest and Paris.
Nicole Kidman, Denise Di Novi and Alison Greenspan produced the film.
