Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg love their new 'Neighborhood'

Writer-actor Seth Rogen and his writing partner Evan Goldberg will rewrite 20th Century Fox's comedy "Neighborhood Watch."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Shawn Levy and his 21 Laps company are producing.
The story revolves around three men who form a suburban "neighborhood watch" group, that is really a front for fathers to get some male bonding time away from the wives and kids. Things take a turn when the group uncovers a plot to destroy the world.
Jared Stern wrote the original screenplay, which had seen Levy, David Dobkin and Pete Segal attached as directors.
At one point Will Ferrell was attached to star.
There is no director attached yet.
Rogen and Goldberg have written "Superbad," "Pineapple Express" and the upcoming "Green Hornet." Rogen appears in all three films.
